We’re very pleased to announce that we will soon be joined for a children’s storytime event by author
Sam Clarke, who will be reading from his new book
Pink Trucks. |
The storytime will take place in the bookshop at 9am
on Saturday 19th October
Pink Trucks follows the exploits of truck-loving Stink, and his quest for a pink truck!
Stink loves trucks. Stink has HUGE trucks, FAST trucks, NOISY trucks, even special SPACE trucks.
He has BLACK, BLUE, RED and little WHITE trucks. But Stink likes PINK . . .
Can trucks be PINK?
When Stink’s quest for a PINK truck leads to a dead-end, his big sister helps him to make one out of recycled toys. In a surprising plot twist, Stink reveals his new PINK truck to his friends hidden under a truck-print blanket, which his friend Ned cannot wait to wrap around his dolly!
